Trash for Trees Results

Thank you to those of you who attended or volunteered at Trash for Trees on April 24th! The event, which is hosted by S.A.V.E. and Growing Friends of Helena, was as large as ever and ran very smoothly.

Totals collected include:

• Newspaper, Office Paper, and Magazines - 38,895 pounds
• Corrugated Cardboard - 7,600 pounds
• Aluminum Cans - 2,280 pounds
• Steel Cans - 2,700 pounds
• #1 Plastic - 2,980 pounds
• Milk jugs - 1,749 pounds
• Colored #2 plastic - 2,070 pounds
• Glass - 27,820 pounds
