*America Recycles Day*

* America Recycles Day is November 15th and SAVE is going to celebrate on campus by hosting an OPEN MIC NIGHT at 8:30pm in the Upper Cube. So, if you want to sing your heart out, tell some jokes, play a song, or just get up and dance, e-mail us to sign up! There will be door prizes, cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place contestants, and a surprise bonus prize for the GREENEST act.
Look out for more information around campus and check out our website at www.Savemobile.org/SAVE/. If you would like to be a contestant, please e-mail cmiller@carroll.edu with your name, act, contact information, and requested amount of time. If you would like to volunteer for this event helping with set-up, PR, or filming, please contact us.

* Volunteer Schedule *
SAVE currently has volunteer opportunities everyday of the week, every hour of the day. If you would like to help with recycling, biodiesel, or our newsletter, Daily Habits, please contact us. Also, if you have any pesky community service hours to work off, SAVE is a recognized community non-profit organization registered for mandated community service with the Montana court system.

* SAVE Class at Carroll College *
If you have found yourself needing more classes or would like to have practical experience in the environmental world, Carroll offers an Environmental Practicum. By taking this class, students will have an opportunity to explore an environmental passion or interest with SAVE. Our organization can provide project ideas, but projects are in no way limited to those suggestions. For more information, contact Murphy Fox or e-mail Matt Elsaesser at recycle@savemobile.org.

* Internship Opportunities *
Audubon Society and MEIC have internship programs available to the community. Both internships are paid full-time positions. These positions are a great opportunity for anyone interested in grass-roots lobbying as the internships are focused on grass-roots political movements for environmental progress in government. For more information, please visit www.savemobile.org/save or call Audubon Society or MEIC.

Also, SAVE is a growing organization able to accommodate internships for any major or minor.

As always, we hope that you are having a beautiful day and thanks for all of your support. If you would like any more information or want to learn more about the going-ons at SAVE please visit our website at www.savemobile.org or our student site at www.savemobile.org/save.
